Here it goes...

Kate had her Spring dance recital and she did awesome! I was quite impressed with how focused she was doing her dances...

...Zachary is now ONE! I can't believe how fast this past year has flown by. He is still not walking, and he really has no desire to stand, but he is now officially army crawling all over the place!...

...I finished my first triathalon (sprint distance)! I know, I am in shock that I actually completed it just like you. It was quite the experience, and it was awesome to cross the finish line with my fellow trainees and friends Amy and Brooke. Oh, and I had a huge surprise the night before the race...my mom, dad and Julia decided to come up to Midway and surprise me. They showed up with signs cheering me on. I was totally shocked. What an awesome family I have! (I think they came to see if I was seriously going to follow through!:) )...

...Spending some quality time in Panguitch and Bryce Canyon...

...The result of 1:00 church :( ...

...Summit Medical is finally coming together! Hoping to be open in early Fall!

WOW! I think that's about it for now!

The Last Few Months

Back a few months ago we took a little trip to Bear Lake with my sister Iva's family. We had a great time relaxing, eating and swimming in the awesome kid-friendly pool! Kate, Will and Zach all loved the water and I am anxious for our neighborhood pool to open!

Kate adores her twin cousins Abby and Emmy.

NOW ON TO SOCCER!

Well, here Kate is at the beginning of her first game. She was ever so excited to play soccer like her Aunt Julia! Well....

...shortly after starting she appeared to be totally overwhelmed and on the verge of tears. Soon...

...she was standing alone, far from the herd of girls chasing the ball, and then the tears came streaming. She just couldn't grasp the concept that she needed to chase the ball and basically steal it from her nice little friends. She wondered why no one was sharing. Oh, sometimes I wonder why I think a three-year-old needs to sign up for everything. (must be something with Kate being our first!) :)

Our little Zach is such a sweetheart and I can't believe he will be one year in June! The time has flown by! He loves to roll all over the place, but he has no interest in crawling, or standing. (It actually makes my life a bit easier.)

RECAP :)

It is official---our chickens are laying eggs! We couldn't be more proud! :)

Having a wonderful visit with Aunt Ted (Great Great Aunt Ted) who is close to 100!

The kids always have a blast in St.George. The kids can't get enough of Grandma, Grandpa, the cows, pigs and chickens!

These are two of my favorite people in the entire world! The greatest mission companions ever! We finally got together after too many years of not keeping in touch! We had some crazy, hilarious and awesome experiences together in Chile!

Better Late Than Never!

I finally decided to take a little time out from reading other blogs and post a few new pictures. We had a wonderful Holiday! The kids were so excited about Santa! (mostly Kate) She did not understand why Santa had to come while she was sleeping! :)

Temple Square

Will opened up his stocking very first, found new cars, and that was it for him. He was not interested in anything else!

Kate on the other hand could not get enough. She asked every Santa we saw for a violin. (and, yes every Santa said, what?) She was more than thrilled about her new violin!! However, with all the songs she was playing I had to quickly find a "special" mute to bring down the beautiful music just a notch! :)

We had a great time with all our family, especially Carrie, Mark and Allie who came to celebrate from Washington.

We spent New Years in St.George and had a wild and crazy time with all the cousins!

DANCE

Kate just had her first dance recital a few weeks ago! Crazy to think she is growing up so fast. I was a little worried she would refuse to go on stage, or possibly just stand there on stage without moving. Much to our surprise she did just what she was supposed to. She watched her teacher intently and was quite serious! She did a great job! Three-year-old dance recitals are very entertaining to watch! I wish I could figure out how to get the video uploaded!

Graduation and Babies

Last weekend we headed to St.George to celebrate the new RN in the family and the arrival of twin baby girls. (I made it to the baby shower, but she had the twins 2 days after I came home!)

Lydia is now an official Registered Nurse -- Congrats!

We had a great time at the baby shower and 5 days later the girls arrived! Abigail and Emmaline were both 5 pounds and healthy!

Of course the kids had a wonderful time with Grandma and Grandpa and Kate couldn't get enough of her new christmas dress from Grandma!

BIRTHDAY TIME

William and Jason both celebrated their birthdays this weekend! Will turned the big TWO and he was absolutely thrilled with all of his presents, especially the cars!

I have been very slow to start solid foods with Zachary, mostly because I am too lazy, however, we have recently started and as you can see Zach has many helping hands!
